Sitting on a front porch swing enjoying the moon and a few street lights shimmering through the fog, is my idea of a peaceful evening. Fog changes the sound and feel of anywhere it chooses to dwell. This town has a busy train track skirting it’s edge. The sound of the horn and the rumble of the train in the distance are distorted. I can hear the trains from miles away. The sound of the coyotes and cattle around the town are briefly muted. The air is cool and clean. Nights like this I would not trade for any city in the world.
